Polar Bear - and Snow!

On September 4, I will be teaching Ribbons and Rosebuds 101 - a One Stroke beginner class. No experience necessary! Learn how to paint One Stroke leaves, a string ribbon bow, and our new updated rosebud.

This cute hummingbird and nest project is just one of many fun classes. For this project, my class sample is on scrapbooking paper. You can paint the bird and nest on any surface though. For example; a birdhouse, tray, card, or a vase.

Flower of the Month - April

The April Flower of the Month is Donna Dewberry's Signature Rose.

The flowers are painted on a piece of Roc Lon multi-purpose fabric. We painted a metallic gold and green vine to divide the fabric into 12 sections. We painted a border of dark green and light green.

By the end of the year we will have a fabulous floor cloth 24" x 52".

Flower of the Month for March

Every month I teach a Flower of the Month class at JoAnn's Superstore in Columbia MD. For March, we are painting these really cute Asters.

The flowers are painted on a piece of Roc Lon multi-purpose fabric. We painted a metallic gold and green vine to divide the fabric into 12 sections. We painted a border of dark green and light green.

By the end of the year we will have a fabulous floor cloth 24" x 52".

This Basket of Eggs project was a fun class.

Catonsville Women's Expo

I will be attending the CCBC Women’s Expo on March 8 and 9. The Expo is on the Catonsville Community College campus. I will have a booth in the Craft & Antiques tent. I plan to sell my handpainted items such as Welcome signs, Mailboxes, Glassware and Vases of all sizes. I will also have on sale One Stroke books, brushes, and accessories.

I will be giving a One Stroke demonstration from 2:00 - 2:30 PM on both days on the Craft Tent stage area. It should be fun and I am looking forward to the event. Happy Valentine's Day

I have been busy getting my records in order for taxes. What a chore!

I am very goal driven, so when I decided to participate in a craft fair in March it gave me the energy to create and paint. I will be painting items for Easter, Mother's Day, and Spring in the coming days - up to the craft fair. I will post more details on the craft fair by the end of the month.
